Zel Bowman-Laberge is a Licensed Maine Architect located in Midcoast Maine. Originally from a small township in Downeast Maine, she studied architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and has worked for the last decade designing homes throughout Maine. Zel believes that Maine homes should be rooted in the tradition of the state – designed with native materials, featuring local makers and honoring the historic vernacular. In addition to her work as an architect, Zel is also an elected member of the Thomaston Select Board, an avid beekeeper and Maine architectural history enthusiast.
